The Week in Review
Happy Friday!
I hope everyone had a great week. Read below to see what I’ve been working on this week!
Helping Veterans
Every day, my office is contacted by veterans who are in need of help.
About 4 years ago, Whitney contacted my office as a veteran needing help getting to work. In response, our network of East Valley veterans and support organizations rallied to get her a car.
This week, she paid it forward to her fellow veteran, James.
I’d like to thank Whitney and James for their selflessness and service to this country. I’d also like to thank Mesa Chamber for hosting this event.
Please get in touch with my district office at 480-699-8239 to learn more about our veterans’ services and other constituent services.
University of Arizona Gilbert Ribbon Cutting
On Wednesday, I attended the University of Arizona’s Near You Network (NYN) and the College of Nursing’s grand opening of its 4th floor at the Gilbert University Building.
NYN provides close-to-home flexibility with locations in Douglas, Gilbert, Nogales, Sunnyside, Flowing Wells, Yuma, and Chandler. The College of Nursing has worked with the state of Arizona and local communities to provide innovative nursing programs in Gilbert.
It is wonderful to see the University of Arizona grow its presence in Gilbert given the significant population growth in the greater Phoenix area. We must ensure the Valley has enough education options to meet workforce demands.
I’d like to thank the University of Arizona, Mayor Brigette Peterson, University of Arizona President Robert Robbins, University of Arizona Senior Vice President of Health Sciences, Dr. Michael Dake, and University of Arizona Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Kathleen Insel, for inviting me to this event and allowing me to provide some remarks.
Seeking Answers on Delays in CBP Retirement Benefits
On Tuesday, I sent a letter to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regarding reports that there have been unacceptable delays in the processing of retirement paperwork for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) retirees. These delays have resulted in months of uncertainty and financial hardship for many.
These men and women put their lives on the line and rightly deserve their hard-earned compensation. Waiting as long as a year to receive payments is unacceptable—especially amid one of the worst inflationary crisis in 40 years.
CBP retirees and employees approaching retirement age deserve answers from President Biden’s OPM.
The full letter may be read here.
Daily Mail covered the letter here.
The Epoch Times covered the letter here.

My America First Contract
America has had enough of the disastrous leftist policies of the Biden Administration. Our nation is in desperate need of a new action plan for Republicans to follow in January.
My America First Contract is an outline to reduce inflation and strengthen the economy, secure our border, restore transparency and parental choice in education, reduce violent crime and preserve the rule of law, restore election integrity, break up Big Tech, put America First in foreign, energy, and trade policies, and reinstate good government practices.
In addition to achieving these 8 goals, the plan calls on conducting enhanced oversight and using available leverages to stop the abuse of power from President Biden in 2023. I will introduce legislation supporting each area of the plan within the first 100 days of the next Congressional term and will work with my colleagues to bring that legislation up for consideration in the House.
The full contract may be read here.
Alien Invasion Border Documentary
I recently released my new border documentary titled Alien Invasion. The 30-minute documentary features footage from private ranches along the border, the Darien Gap in Panama, and interviews with members of Congress, Border Patrol, local and state law enforcement, and much more. It addresses how President Biden’s border crisis began, its consequences, and solutions to address the crisis.
The border documentary may be watched here.
Top Media Appearances of the Week
I joined Fox Business’ Ashley Webster to discuss why Democrats’ continued demagoguery regarding our democracy harms the nation and dismisses more pressing issues like inflation, border, crime, and more. Click below to watch.
I joined Newsmax’s Jenn Pellegrino to discuss what Republicans in Congress can do to secure our southern border with President Biden still in the White House. Click below to watch.
I joined Newsmax’s Shaun Kraisman to unveil the House Judiciary Committee’s 1,000-page report detailing the rampant culture of unaccountability, manipulation, and abuse within the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The report titled FBI Whistleblowers: What Their Disclosures Indicate About The Politicization of the FBI and Justice Department may be read here.
I joined Steve Bannon’s War Room to explain why we shouldn’t grant a “pandemic amnesty” to COVID bureaucrats like Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, and Dr. Walensky. For years, these individuals shut down businesses, churches, and schools, and took away fundamental rights. We cannot let them go unchecked. Click below to watch.
What’s the BIGGS Idea? podcast w/ The Blaze’s Daniel Horowitz
Today, Senior Editor for The Blaze Daniel Horowitz joined the “What’s the BIGGS Idea?” podcast. Daniel is also the host of the Conservative Review podcast and writes on America’s most pressing political issues.
Daniel and I discussed the proposed “pandemic amnesty,” the effectiveness of vaccines, and how tyrannical our government has become.
We’ll be posting more episodes soon. Check out our social media pages for updates.

Definition of the Week
In a new piece, The Atlantic argues that America “needs to forgive one another what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID” and to “declare a pandemic amnesty.”
We cannot allow this to happen.
Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, and Dr. Walensky are all unelected COVID bureaucrats who severely harmed our country with vaccine mandates, school closures, business shutdowns, and more. They cannot be let off the hook so easily.
Come January, my colleagues and I in the House Oversight and Judiciary committees will bring these individuals in and hold them accountable.
Inspired by The Atlantic, here’s the definition of the week:
“Pandemic amnesty” (Noun): A thinly-veiled attempt to prevent harmful bureaucrats from being held accountable for their destructive COVID-19 policies.
