Last week we shared a guessing game with Team Pete, and it got quite a response. Now we want to let you know the results.

Result 1: People had fun with it

It’s safe to say we achieved our Joy goals for this effort.

Result 2: Lots of players, lots of guesses

* Overall we collected more than 1600 donations, with over 600 different values represented
* 182 out of the 200 values between $1 and $2.99 were represented
(spoiler alert, that means the winner was in there!)
* In case you were wondering, 8 people chose 3.14 (~pi), but only 4 tried 2.72 (~e)
* Apart from $1 on the nose, $1.19 (for Pete’s birthday, perhaps?) was the most popular guess by far, with 37 submissions
* After the first few hours of the game, nobody had yet donated $1.01 😂but by the end of the game, 10 people had given it a shot

Result 3: Our winner!!

At the end of the day, our winner was Michael S. from New Hampshire, with a donation of $1.40! Congrats, Michael.

One thing we learned while watching Team Pete have fun with this was the significance different numbers have to so many of us. So as we push toward our $750,000 end-of-year goal, we wanted to give you another opportunity to support Pete while sharing your story with us. [link removed]
