In recent years, we’ve shown what’s possible when we turn out. Surges in youth turnout in 2018 and 2020 paved the way for progressive change across the nation. But we’ve also seen what happens when we don’t show up. The impact of narrow election losses can reverberate for years and years.

If Republicans take back control of the Senate and the House, they will do all they can to roll back our hard-fought progress. They’ve vowed to advance extreme legislation to ban abortion nationwide, give billionaires and wealthy corporations a tax break, gut our health care coverage, and raise costs for working families. 

Defeating MAGA extremists and corporate interests won’t be easy. But in just a few days, we can show the world that our generation is up to the challenge. A better future is within our reach, but only if we use our voice and our vote.

Let’s be clear — young voters are fed up with the status quo. We’re the first generation that has fewer rights than our parents. The right-wing majority on the Supreme Court took away the right to a safe, legal abortion and denied us the ability to decide our futures. 

Now MAGA Republicans have their eyes on Congress to continue their extreme agenda — undermining student debt relief, abortion access, climate action, and more.

Republicans have pissed off the wrong generation. We will fight them tooth-and-nail to ensure they don’t get their way. We simply can’t afford to lose.
