There is a war being waged in Washington D.C. It is not a war between conservatives and liberals or Republicans and Democrats. Rather, it is one between elites in the U.S. government and the citizens they are supposed to represent. After decades on the ascent, far-left radicals have fully seized control over America’s institutions and government agencies and turned them against their enemies: the hardworking families, taxpayers, and patriots who love their country and desire to live in freedom.

This woke war animates nearly every decision made by the loyal progressive partisans embedded within the federal bureaucracy. The examples are nearly too numerous to count and wholly destructive to our constitutional system. They include:
* The CDC colluding with teachers’ unions to shut down in-person schooling and inflict decades of learning loss for America’s children;
* The IRS is hiring 87,000 new auditors to comb through your family's tax records, looking for any excuse to charge you with fraud, especially if you hold political views that threaten their hold on power;
* The FBI targeting parents as domestic terrorists for daring to speak out at school board meetings;
* OSHA issuing vaccine mandates on frontline healthcare workers, first responders, and small business owners;
* The Department of Education awarding taxpayer-funded grants to promote Marxist-derived critical race theory in school systems;
* The EPA cracking down on reliable and sustainable sources of energy regardless of the financial pain it causes working-class households; and
* The Mayorkas-led DHS refusing to secure the border to stop the flow of deadly fentanyl and crime into America’s vulnerable communities.

The federal bureaucracy is engaged in total war against the liberty, security, and well-being of the American people. Simply put, Washington has been weaponized.

What these radicals and far-left elites fail to understand, however, is that the freedom-loving opposition is not just organizing, but advancing. Conservative fighters in the states are mobilizing to disarm and defeat the weaponized D.C. cabal.

Yes, we must continue the fight in Washington with the help of the House Freedom Caucus, which is leading the charge to dismantle the tyranny within the federal government. But more must be done at the state level.

And here is why...

The State Freedom Caucus Network was founded last year to create freedom caucuses in the 50 state capitols - modeled after the successful House Freedom Caucus. The Network is equipping liberty-minded state lawmakers with the resources, knowledge, and procedural strategies they need to ensure the rights of their citizens are protected and the progressive policies targeting American households are defeated.

In less than a year, the Network has launched seven official freedom caucuses in legislatures across the nation–including Georgia, South Carolina, Illinois, Arizona, Nevada, South Dakota, and Mississippi. Three more state freedom caucuses are on the way before the year’s end.

The impact of the Network is already being felt.

When the CDC voted last week to include COVID-19 vaccinations to the recommended vaccination list for children, members of the Georgia ([link removed]) , Nevada ([link removed]) , Arizona ([link removed]) , and South Carolina ([link removed]) freedom caucuses issued immediate and firm commitments to stop this attempted infringement at all costs. In Mississippi, Georgia, and Arizona, conservative lawmakers had the foresight to pass legislation prohibiting such mandates on school children long before the CDC’s declaration came to fruition, thus ensuring that Washington’s weaponization never had the chance to succeed in those states.

Conservative lawmakers in Arizona, South Carolina, and Mississippi were at the tip of the spear to protect both employees and businesses from the Biden administration’s unconstitutional OSHA mandate on employers, passing legislation ensuring their citizens' conscience and religious liberty rights remained intact to exempt themselves from Washington’s tyrannical overreach.

Indeed, if only every state had organized freedom fighters in the state legislature to defend their constituents from the radical left’s weaponized Washington bureaucracy, America would be able to turn the tide against D.C.’s tyranny against the American people. Fortunately, it is precisely for this mission and this moment that the State Freedom Caucus Network exists.
