This weekend’s forecast is calling for lots of voting! It’s a perfect time to curl up with a cozy blanket, plus your ballot, a blue or black pen, and OLCV’s endorsements. After marking your votes for climate champions up and down the ballot (and signing your return envelope), you can then pop your ballot into the mail – it doesn’t even need a stamp. Whatever your plan is to vote, make sure your ballot is dropped off or postmarked by 8pm on Election Day – this Tuesday, November 8th.
Voting is easy, even fun, and definitely important. With the race for Oregon’s next governor as close as they come, every vote is crucial this election. There’s only one candidate for governor who shares Oregonians’ environmental values and our commitment to climate action. Her name is Tina Kotek, and we urge you to vote for her. With wildfires, extreme weather, and other climate impacts hitting us hard, we need Tina’s leadership in the governor’s office now more than ever.
A vote for Tina is a vote for climate leadership.
