I know these emails can be a lot, and I’d prefer not to ask you for your grassroots donations. My focus is on defending our democracy, advocating for our military and veteran families, and protecting our coasts.

But the reality is that I cannot continue that work if I lose my re-election. A brand-new poll shows me tied with my opponent and VA-02 is the most competitive House district in the nation, which means every dollar donated and vote earned gets us one step closer to winning.

Every day between now and Tuesday, Team Elaine will have dozens of volunteers knocking on doors across Coastal Virginia to make sure we reach every single eligible voter.

But those same volunteers need transportation, informational materials, and meals so they can generate the record-breaking Democratic turnout required to defeat the GOP and win this race.
