Folks, Election Day is 4 days away. Our voting rights are being attacked from every angle, so it’s more important than ever to know exactly what our rights are before we head to the polls.

When do polls open in Alabama?
Alabama polling places will open on Tuesday, November 8th at 7 am and close at 7 pm. Anyone in line to vote at 7 pm will have the right to stay and cast their ballot.
You cannot vote online in Alabama.
Do I need a photo ID to vote in Alabama?
Yes. A valid photo ID is required to vote in Alabama. You can check all the accepted forms of photo ID accepted at polling places here >> [[link removed]] .
What if I need help voting?
All polling places are required to be accessible to elderly and disabled voters. In Alabama, if you are over the age of 70 or if you have a physical disability, a polling assistant should bring you to the front of the line to vote, at your request.
What is voter intimidation?
Voter intimidation is a federal crime. It’s any action meant to keep voters from voting for their chosen candidate or from voting at all. It can range from threats of physical violence to following folks into the voting booth.
Remember, you have the right to vote for whoever is on your ballot. No one has the right to intimidate you while you make your voice heard.
