PFAW Member,
Heading into 2020 we are in the fight of our lives to save this country from the hateful, racist, xenophobic, misogynistic, and unjust agenda that has defined the Trump presidency.
To make matters worse, Republicans in Congress have been in lockstep with Trump the entire time. Instead of offering opposition, or even any meaningful rebuke of the Trump administration’s lawlessness and corruption, many instead choose to defend the indefensible out of fear of a Twitter tirade from (or primary challenge supported by) Trump. By groveling to the worst actions of the Trump administration, Republicans in Congress are enabling this vile agenda and those across the country who seek to exploit it.
That has to end – and the only way to do it is to ensure that Republicans in Congress (and the White House) are serving their final term.
It’s why I’m a proud to stand with PFAW in 2020 – to defeat Trump Republicans and elect strong progressive candidates up and down the ballot, all across the country.
All year-end online donations will be 300%-MATCHED up to $350,000 to fight the Right and defeat Trump!
Trump and his right-wing enablers across the country will double-down on their efforts to demonize Latinos and immigrant communities. So PFAW is fighting back with its time-tested and more-important-than-ever Latinos Vote! program.
Trump Republicans are going to try to dissuade young people from voting, even while they obstruct efforts to address climate change and enact policies that snatch opportunity away from young people. So PFAW is fighting back with its Next Up Victory Fund, which supports diverse powerhouse progressive candidates, age 40 and under, running for state and local office.
And those are just a few examples.
We’re not going to let Trump abandon Dreamers, keep locking up children and separating families, destroy health care for millions of Americans, keep up his constant attacks on women, and continue his assault on the Constitution and democracy. And we’re going to make him pay a price for all the ways he has demonstrated his unfitness for his office – from dividing us with hate and bigotry to abusing the power of his office for personal gain to mocking anyone who disagrees with him or who he is jealous of (like youth climate activist Greta Thunberg when she was recently named Time Magazine’s person of the year and Trump obviously felt he deserved the honor).
We’re ready to stand with the American people to demand justice in 2020.
We can only do it together, with your help. But, together, what we can do is unlimited.
