Hi John,
We’re emailing as Greenpeace UK’s new joint executive directors, to find out more about you and what you think.
Every year Greenpeace staff ask people from our movement - all over the UK - what their priorities are.
Between us, we have spent close to 25 years at Greenpeace. We know the organisation well, we really care about what you think and we are keen to make it the most effective version of itself.
As someone who supports Greenpeace, we know you'll have thoughts you want to share. The more people we hear from, the more people-powered our leadership can be.
The first question is which of the following do you think is the single most important issue for Greenpeace to work on? [link removed]
Climate emergency: [link removed]
Oceans: [link removed]
Forests: [link removed]
Plastic: [link removed]
Fossil Fuels: [link removed]
Green Economy: [link removed]

We’ve taken on our new roles at a crucial time. This year we’ve seen far too many of our worst predictions come true – we’ve struggled in 40 degree heat and seen the Amazon rainforest set ablaze. Now millions will struggle to heat their homes during the biggest energy crisis in a generation. Many will sit in cold, uninsulated homes, all while oil company bosses continue to rake in obscene profits.
But over all the years we’ve been fighting to protect the climate and nature, what has given us hope is people like you who take action, even when things are tough.
It’s all of us, working together, that means change is not only possible, but inevitable. So please, take part in our yearly survey and tell us how you’d like to get involved. [link removed]

We can’t wait to read what you say – and to work with you to build the greener, more peaceful world we all deserve.
Areeba and Will
Greenpeace UK Executive Directors
