Personal stories are powerful. Do you have one to share?Friend, we're curious. When did you first realise you
supported assisted dying?
Many of us change our views on the law after seeing a loved one suffer at the
end of their life. In fact, that's how a lot of our supporters first became
aware of assisted dying.
No one should have to suffer needlessly in death. That's why we're collecting
personal stories and messages about assisted dying - to show the government how
urgently the law needs to change.
Friend, could you spare a moment to tell us why assisted
dying matters to you?

Heather Pratten had just lost her husband to Huntington's Disease - a
degenerative brain disorder - when her son, Nigel, was diagnosed with it too.
Heather and Nigel had already watched her husband die - and they knew the
distress and suffering the disease could cause. So when Nigel told his mum that
he wanted to end his life, she supported him. And she almost went to prison for
doing so.
Now, Heather is using her story to support other terminally ill people who want
the right to die with dignity. She has inspired people up and down the country
to keep fighting for a change to the law - all with the power of her
experiences.
Friend, your story could change someone's life. Will you
share it with us today?
