The Poppy Run raises funds for the Royal British Legion to continue their work in supporting the Armed Forces community, whether serving personnel, veterans or their families.

This year there will be a short Service of Remembrance taking place on the steps of the Council House on Friday 11 November.? The service starts at 10.50am and will incorporate the two-minute silence at 11am. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Remembrance Sunday

Victoria Embankment
The traditional Remembrance Service will take place on Sunday 13 November at the city?s war memorial on Victoria Embankment. The ceremony will begin at 10.45am and include the two-minute silence and wreath laying. The Nottinghamshire Band of The Royal Engineers (volunteers), accompanied by the Nottingham Hospitals? Choir will provide music for the service.
Members of the public wishing to pay their respects and observe the ceremony are very welcome.?
