 
My name’s Rebecca, and I’m Josh Shapiro’s sister. I was also his first Campaign Manager for his very first election back in 2004! I know how talented Josh is as a brother, a father, and a candidate for office — listening to voters and living his values of truth, compassion, and hard work — not to mention his impressive basketball skills and stellar work on the grill! I also know that my brother alone can’t win this race. It’s too competitive and too big to be a one-person operation. I know a thing or two about how much Josh cares about Pennsylvania. When he was just starting out in public service, the most important thing to Josh was that he got to know his community. Each night he walked out of our tiny campaign office to knock on doors and meet voters — by the end of the election, he knocked on 18,000 doors and walked through 3 pairs of shoes! Josh was laser focused. He felt the only way to protect a community was to understand their needs. 18 years later, his perspective has not changed. No matter how or where he connects with Pennsylvanians (traveling on that huge bus is a major upgrade from our early days, though!) Josh has never stopped listening to or fighting for the people he represents. That’s why I’m so proud to support my brother.
