With four days until Election Day, I need to ask you to consider making a donation to our campaiGN. But first, I felt you deserved an explanation from me personally about why your support today is so important.

This is one of the most hotly contested races in the country. Nonpartisan experts think that whether or not we expand our majority in order to deliver meaningful change in the Senate could come down to North Carolina. The Washington Post just said “this is the upset to pick” about our campaign.

Multiple polls within the last week have shown this race remains statistically tied, and National Journal says this is the #2 most flippable seat for Democrats.

But the truth is that the spending discrepancy in North Carolina is bigger than in any other U.S. Senate race this year. Ted Budd’s super PACs are absolutely flooding our state with money. They are outspending us - but the polls prove we’re holding our own despite that. We don’t need to match them dollar for dollar, but if we can close the gap just a bit, we can absolutely win.

That’s why our campaign is a place where your last-minute investment can make one of the biggest differences. Whether you can pitch in $3 or any amount you can afford, no donation is too small.

I don’t believe this seat or our next senator’s vote should be for sale. We need a leader who will always put people first. That’s why our campaign is rejecting corporate PAC money, and it’s why we must stop Ted Budd’s dark money allies from buying this seat.
