On Friday, November 11, the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) continues its annual Veterans Day tradition of offering complimentary transit rides to veterans and active military service members in thanks to their service to our country. To receive free rides all day, people won?t need any special documentation.
The promotion is valid on the following DCTA services only:
Other DCTA services not listed are not included in the agency?s Veterans Day free ride promotion. In addition, DCTA?s promotion is not valid on Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Trinity Metro and Trinity Railway Express (TRE) services. Riders need to purchase appropriate fare if they plan to transfer for that portion of their trip.
