Victory! Fifth Circuit Strikes Down DACA

In its brief on appeal, IRLI showed that DACA is unlawful in a number of respects. In a major victory for the rule of law, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the judgment of a Texas federal district court finding DACA unlawful and blocking its implementation going forward.

As Economy Worsens, States Funnel Unemployment Benefits to Illegal Aliens

An investigative report by IRLI has found existing and pending laws in numerous state legislatures that provide unemployment benefits to illegal aliens at a time when American citizens and legal residents are facing increasing financial difficulties.   

The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), representing several Texas counties and sheriffs, and the Federal Police Foundation, ICE Officers Division, sought to intervene in a case now before the Court in which the states of Texas and Louisiana are challenging a Biden administration memo.
