Team – I want to talk to you a bit about why I got into this race, but first: if you already know you’re with me, I need your help right now to turn out more Democratic voters in Colorado. Can I count on you to rush $25 to help us Get Out the Vote? [[link removed]]

RUSH $25 NOW → [[link removed]]

One of the reasons I got into this race is because for far too long, we’ve had representation in Washington that puts the wealthy and well-connected ahead of people like us.

Let me be clear, for far too long we’ve seen the cost of living continue to outpace wages.

Part of the problem is that most people in Washington don’t understand the daily struggles regular people are going through, but I do. I know what it’s like to have to scratch and claw my way just to make ends meet.

I started cleaning houses when I was just 12 years old…

I worked behind the counter at a bagel shop…

I pushed carts at a grocery store…

I waited tables at restaurant after restaurant.

And even today, I’ve never known what it’s like to have just one job.

My experience isn’t unique, but it is in Washington.

That’s why life is getting even harder today for Coloradans. The gap between the haves and have-nots just keeps getting wider. And let’s be clear: hardworking families shouldn’t have to struggle to get the health care they need, or afford a place to live, or retire with dignity.

I’m running for Congress to level the playing field and fight for more opportunities for regular folks. But the GOP is still targeting this seat and it’s going to be an extremely competitive race.

Team, if you agree with me that we need more members of Congress who understand the struggles working families face, I would be honored to have your support in. Can you pitch in a few dollars to help us Get Out the Vote across CO-07? [[link removed]]
