Jamie Raskin here. I’m writing today to my friends in New Hampshire because the fate of American democracy is on the ballot on Tuesday, November 8.

As Republican election deniers across the country bow down before Donald Trump’s ludicrous Big Lie, the New Hampshire GOP just nominated Don Bolduc, another election-denying, right-wing extremist, to oppose New Hampshire Senator Maggie Hassan in her critical reelection campaign.

I go to work with Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz, so I know the kind of damage people like Bolduc inflict in office. He said he would "defy the presidential election results, should he be called upon to do so in 2024," and he’s trying to build a GOP majority that will abolish abortion rights in America without exceptions for rape or incest.

Maggie Hassan is a champion of constitutional democracy, personal freedom, lowering prescription drug costs, expanding renewable energy and building the American middle class. There has never been a more important time to support leaders who will fiercely defend our democratic values and priorities — leaders like Senator Maggie Hassan. That’s why, today, I’m asking you to help me help Maggie win. We can take NOTHING for granted.

Maggie Hassan is up against the full force of the GOP dark money machine, because Mitch McConnell sees New Hampshire as necessary to Trump’s party retaking the Senate Majority. And he’s right.

Maggie won her last race by just 1,017 votes – the slimmest margin of any sitting U.S. Senator. And with the GOP spending tens of millions trying to replace her with extremist Don Bolduc, this time it’s going to be even tighter. That’s why Maggie needs our help.

We can’t afford to lose her seat or her crucial passionate voice in the Senate, so please pitch in what you can today to help her win in New Hampshire.
