Biden Only Condemns Political Violence When Committed by Republicans

Spencer Brown: In Wednesday’s White House press briefing, Karine Jean-Pierre claimed that President Joe Biden “has always condemned political violence,” but as usual the White House’s blanket statements are incongruent with the reality of Biden’s previous statements. In this case, it’s how Biden addressed the rampant political violence carried out by radical Antifa rioters who destroyed American cities, gutted small businesses, and assaulted federal buildings (Townhall). Townhall: KJP TODAY: Biden “has always condemned political violence.” BIDEN IN 2020: “Antifa is an idea, not an organization, not malicious” (Twitter). Axios: The vandalism and looting following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police will cost the insurance industry more than any other violent demonstrations in recent history. The arson, vandalism and looting that did occur will result in at least $1 billion to $2 billion of paid insurance claims (Axios).

Florida’s Charlie Crist Open to Mask Mandates in Accordance with Science
Townhall: At a town hall meeting, Crist was asked “as Florida’s governor, would you be open to mandating or regulating masks?” Crist suggested he would, in fact, be open. “I would be open to doing what scientists advise,” he said, also sharing he was going to be wearing a mask on the plane, warning about a new variant. Crist closed by thanking the attendee for the “very pointed question” (Townhall). Journalist Florida Grand: Yep. Meanwhile he’s not wearing one while talking to everyone here (Twitter).

Woman Favor GOP by 15 Percent According to Poll
Wall Street Journal: White suburban women, a key group of midterm voters, have significantly shifted their support from Democrats to Republicans in the closing days of midterm campaigning because of rising concerns over the economy and inflation. The survey found that they favor Republicans in congressional races by 15 percentage points. That represented a substantial shift in recent weeks among a group that makes up 20% of the electorate. In the Journal’s August poll, white suburban women favored Democrats by 12 percentage points (Wall Street Journal). Daily Wire: White suburban women are joining blacks and Hispanic voters, who are moving to the GOP amid skyrocketing gas and food prices and soaring crime rates across the country (Daily Wire).

MSNBC Historian Suggests if GOP Win Midterms, Children Will Be “arrested and conceivably killed”
Townhall: Presidential historian Michael Beschloss lost his mind during an interview on MSNBC Thursday afternoon, claiming Republican victories mean the end of democracy and the ability to record current events. He then went into dark accusations of kidnapping and child murder (Townhall). Steve Hilton: MSNBC “presidential historian” Michael Beschloss: if Republicans win, “our children will be arrested and conceivably killed.” Yes, he really said this. This mad, inflammatory rhetoric from the left has to stop (Twitter). Townhall: MSNBC “historian” claims that children will be “arrested” or “killed” if Democrats lose elections (Twitter). Bibi Is Back: Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Set to Return as Prime Minister
Associated Press: Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday appeared set to return to power as head of Israel’s most right-wing government ever after winning this week’s national election, with the current caretaker prime minister conceding defeat. Final results showed Netanyahu’s Likud Party and its ultranationalist and religious partners capturing a solid majority in Israel’s Knesset, or parliament (Associated Press). Ben Shapiro: If the current election numbers in Israel hold … an extremely durable mandate…. Major victory for Bibi (Twitter).Wall Street Journal: The results represent a stunning return to power for Israel’s longest-serving prime minister, who also remains a deeply divisive figure. He is beloved by many Israelis who refer to him as the “King of Israel” (Wall Street Journal).

South Korea Launches ICBM, Smaller Missiles in Response to US, South Korea Training Exercises
Fox News: The U.S. and South Korean militaries are extending joint air force drills into this weekend after North Korea fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICMB), as well as two short, range missiles Thursday. ICBMs are devices capable of traveling nearly across the globe to deliver a nuclear warhead. North Korea conducted a record 20 missile launches on Wednesday alone as the U.S. and South Korea flew hundreds of aircraft to simulate operations (Fox News). CNN: However, within hours of the presumed failed test, Washington and Seoul agreed to extend those large-scale exercises to an unknown date, according to a statement from the South Korean Air Force, which said “it was necessary to demonstrate a solid combined defense posture of the bilateral alliance under the current security crisis, heightened by North Korea’s provocations” (CNN).

CNN’s New Morning Show with Don Lemon Flops
Fox News: CNN replaced its long-struggling morning show “New Day” with a heavily promoted program centered around left-wing host Don Lemon, but viewership issues remained the same. The launch of “CNN This Morning” attracted only 387,000 total viewers on Tuesday, when the ensemble morning program featuring Lemon, Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins officially replaced “New Day.” By comparison, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” managed 793,000 viewers and “FOX & Friends” averaged 1.5 million on the same morning (Fox News). Washington Examiner: Wednesday night, it was revealed that Jake Tapper’s CNN Tonight with Jake Tapper is being canceled by the network, and the host will be returning to his 4:00 p.m. time slot after the election (Washington Examiner).

Climate Change Activist Greta Thunberg Targets Capitalism
Townhall: Climate change activist Greta Thunberg, who has been propped up by global elites and central planners since she was a child, is finally admitting her activism isn’t about saving the environment. Instead, it’s about tearing down capitalism and implementing communist, government controlled systems around the world (Townhall). Michael Shellenberger: In fact, the “whole capitalist system” has allowed for average life expectancy of humans to rise from 30 to 70 (Twitter).

National Review: Mass layoffs are set to begin at Twitter on Friday, just over a week after billionaire Elon Musk officially took control of the company. Roughly half of Twitter’s 7,500 employees are likely to lose their jobs. The layoffs are expected to target the sales, trust and safety, marketing, product, engineering, and legal teams (National Review). NBC: According to the email from Twitter, staff members will get a notice either through their company email — if they still have a job — or their personal email if their “employment is impacted.” The company said that the staffing reduction is being done in “an effort to place Twitter on a healthy path” (NBC).
