Hey Team!
We cannot thank you enough for all you have done thus far! You are an amazing group of dedicated volunteers and each one of you is appreciated more than you know! As a team, we are making an impact and starting to rattle the Democrat cages. I think they are realizing that Valerie Foushee is not a shoe-in!
I am resending the 25 minute training video that Courtney recorded for ALL volunteers working the polls. We strongly encourage you to watch it if you have not seen it yet. She has guidelines she would like you to follow plus she addresses the top 3 questions volunteers have asked.

Based on my experience since early voting began, most of the Democrat volunteers/poll workers have been very pleasant and friendly. However, there are a few that can spoil it for the rest of us. I had a situation this morning when I was talking to a voter and handing out Courtney's card, the Durham Democrat volunteer was talking over me and saying "She's a Republican". After a few times, (and she is pointing out Valerie on her sample ballot stating David Price is retiring and he endorses Valerie), I asked her to stop talking over me since I was talking. She did stop but when I was finished, she'd yell "She's a Republican". I told her I think the voter would see that she is a Republican when they see the ballot. She continued to say David Price endorses Valerie. I told her it is not true since I searched the internet and couldn't find anything of the sort. She eventually stopped saying that as well. So....if opposition poll workers are being disrespectful and/or consistently talking over you, politely ask them to stop and if it doesn't, please contact me or LaRayne immediately.
If someone continuously yells out "She's a Republican," you have full permission to say to the voter... "You know, I think she is insulting your intelligence that she doesn't think you can read the word Republican on the ballot! Courtney is a Republican, but she constantly goes against the grain of the establishment of the republican party, and she will certainly stir the pot of the bureaucracy of politicians on both sides of the aisle that are just up in Washington for power and money. She has been a nurse for 10 years, and she isn't a politician. I hope you will consider her."
We are still scheduling for Election Day, Tuesday, the 8th, so please respond to this email with your availability if you are not already scheduled. We would rather get these shifts committed so we are not scrambling around on Monday when we will all be needing a much needed rest!
Thank you again for all you have done and continue to do. Let's cross the finish line well!
