Dear Friend,

In the last hours of 2019 I just want to say how proud I am of Americans for Safe Access and all we’ve accomplished in the last 17 years. This group has expanded from a group of dedicated activists protecting patients in the streets of Berkeley into a group of internationally recognized experts protecting patients all around the globe.

The truth is without Americans for Safe Access, I would not be a legal patient in Washington, DC; that is true for millions of Americans. Without Americans for Safe Access there would not be thousands of individuals working in the cannabis industry, in fact there would not be a cannabis industry.

Today there are still millions of Americans that do not have safe access to cannabis medicines, and that is why Americans for Safe Access is still fighting. I have put a lot of myself into ASA and I know many of you have also dedicated much of your time, energy and resources into advancing safe access.

Let’s keep up that fight in 2020. This work can only happen with your support.

So before this year ends I will be supporting ASA with a donation to help continue fighting for patients in 2020. I hope you will join me.

Happy New Years,

Steph Sherer,
Founder and Board President
