As 2019 comes to an end, there are so many things to be thankful for this year. First, the continued support from friends like you!
I am also so proud that House Democrats finally passed our bill H.R. 4 Voting Rights Advancement Act. Our bill will restore the full protections of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 by providing a process to determine which states with a recent history of voting rights violations must pre-clear election changes with the Department of Justice.
Our fight for voting rights still persist! Our bill sits in the Senate where Senate leader Mitch McConnell refuses to take it up! Will you help us continue the fight in 2020?
