On this last day of the year, many of us are reflecting upon the last 12 months. Sadly, 2019 saw a marked increase in challenges to the progress of LGBTQ students, their allies, and GLSEN.
John, your special year-end donation will help GLSEN kick-start 2020 and expand our critical work to create safe and inclusive schools for LGBTQ youth and all students.
Together this year we rallied in response to anti-LGBTQ arguments in the Supreme Court. We mourned with communities, stood alongside students to memorialize students lost to suicide, and worked with advocates to protect more of their peers. These challenges and losses inspire us to do even more in 2020.
