Election Day is less than one week away. That means we have less than a week left to knock doors, make phone calls, and connect with voters across the state.
We know what’s at stake. Our candidates in targeted races are fighting to defend our progress on issues from abortion rights to education funding. And, women are heading up that slate of Priority Races, boldly fighting on the front lines for our communities.
Senator Emily Randall is a community organizer and a strong leader in the fight for affordable health care and higher education. After flipping her seat from red to blue in 2018, she became the first openly queer woman in the State Senate!
Senator Claire Wilson flipped her seat in 2018, becoming the first out lesbian in the State Senate! She’s spent decades working in early education and served as a school board member for Federal Way Public Schools.
Representative Sharon Shewmake is running against an appointed Republican Senator in the 42nd legislative district. She’s an economist and teacher who is dedicated to fighting for working families in Whatcom County!
Claudia Kauffman is running to represent the 47th legislative district again after previously holding this seat from 2007-2010. With a long record of serving her community, she’s running in this battleground race to continue championing public safety, education, affordable housing, and a sustainable and prosperous future for our families.
These proven leaders are working to make sure voters hear their message over the next week, but they need the resources to compete with GOP mega-donors and special interest groups trying to buy their way to victory.
Let’s help these Washington women cross the finish line!
