In My Own Little Corner: a work in progress with bipolar disorder Riverside Theatre In My Own Little Corner is a motivational cabaret written and performed by Chryssie Whitehead. Through song, story and a bit of dance, we journey with Chryssie as she shares her mother's death, career and stories of her own ups and downs, along with the huge grasp mental illness has played in both her mom's and her life. Chryssie explores how it’s possible to get proper help, medicine and tools to find clarity in one's life with bipolar disorder or any mental illness. There will be a talkback with Chryssie and Dr. Alisa Hurwitz after the show. All proceeds from this performance will be donated to the Entertainment Community Fund.
