This is urgent, so I’m just going to get right to it, folks.

I need to ask you to give just $5 – split between me and Jacky Rosen – to support my Senate campaign. But if you’re on the fence about donating, let me give you 5 reasons why your contribution is so critical.

1. We’re tied. Dead heat, statistical tie, neck and neck … however you describe it, this race could not be any closer. So your $5 will have a bigger impact than at any other point in our campaign so far.

2. Ohio will decide Senate control. If we flip Ohio blue, Democrats will expand our Senate majority. But if we lose, Mitch McConnell will be back in charge.

3. JD is as extreme as it gets. A national abortion ban, tax cuts for the wealthy, anti-democratic voter suppression laws – the far-right agenda will become Ohio’s reality if JD gets his way.

4. We’re getting crushed by out-of-state spending. Mitch McConnell, Peter Thiel, Donald Trump – they’re all spending MILLIONS of dollars to prop up JD’s campaign.

5. We can’t win without your support. If every person reading this email chips in just $5, we’ll have the resources to defeat JD, flip Ohio blue, and expand our Democratic Senate majority.
