March On

Hey Friend –

The midterm election is just days away, so we’re taking a moment to highlight one more progressive Democratic woman running for Congress – as well as how you can help her win on November 8th!

Today, we’re celebrating Cori Bush from St. Louis, MO!

Cori Bush made history in 2020 when she defeated a 10-term incumbent in the Democratic primary and was elected as the first Black woman to represent Missouri in Congress.

In Congress, Rep. Bush has pushed for progressive change on issues including housing insecurity, police reform, and environmental justice. During the summer of 2021, Bush led a multi-day protest on the steps of the US Capitol, which pressured President Biden to extend the eviction moratorium and keep people housed during a deadly wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to her election, Bush was a community organizer and activist at the forefront of the beginning of the Black Lives Matter movement in St. Louis, following the murder of Michael Brown, Jr. by a police officer.

Friend, reelecting Cori Bush could help SAVE our House majority and advance progressive legislation through Congress – and you can take action right now to help her win this November!

Thank you for all that you do!
