I'll give it to you straight, John. I'm concerned.
Georgians are voting in record numbers, and there is a possibility that we're not going to be able to reach every voter who we need to support our campaign before they head to the polls. The Associated Press reports, "More than 4 million Georgians will likely vote in this year's midterm elections, surpassing the midterm record of 3.9 million in 2018, with at least half of these voters expected to vote early." The fact that Georgians are voting in record numbers is fantastic. What gives me heartburn is that we're running out of money to reach them. We haven't hit some of our daily fundraising goals this week. When we fail to reach those goals, it severely impacts our ability to reach voters through digital advertising. When I say that we depend on your generosity, I really mean it. Right now, we don't have enough cash to reach all the persuadable voters we need to contact online, so we're forced to make some tough budget decisions.
