I’ve spent my entire career fighting for working families. As a labor activist, I fought for firefighters, grocery store workers, and meat packers, and I helped lead the charge to pass a $15 minimum wage in Illinois. 

But, there’s still so much work to be done. Illinois’ working families are struggling, and I’m taking my fight all the way to Congress to make sure their voices are heard.

I’ll fight to bring back the good-paying, middle-class jobs that people like my grandparents depended on but are harder and harder to come by every year. And I’ll fight for an economic recovery that doesn’t leave anyone behind.
