Many states for various reasons...red states, blue states, and purple states…fail to fulfill the list maintenance obligations of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).

When that happens, the U.S. Justice Department is empowered to sue states and force them to clean their voter rolls...but that never happens.

So Judicial Watch has taken up the slack!

Our legal actions in California, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky led directly to cleaner voter rolls...and cleaner elections...in those states.

Earlier this year, we scored a major win in North Carolina, when we settled a lawsuit after the state had removed more than 430,000 ineligible voter names its voting lists…and we are currently pursuing lawsuits against Colorado, New York and Pennsylvania over their failure to follow the voter list cleaning requirements of the NVRA.

Of course, the U.S. Justice Department should be enforcing the voter list maintenance provisions in federal law and suing states that fail to clean their voter rolls...

...but the partisan liberals who run the department have virtually no interest in helping ensure the rule of law is followed to make sure voter rolls are clean. 

After all, liberals don’t want to make it harder for noncitizens to vote and they don’t want to reduce the opportunities for voter fraud!

That’s why,supported by our loyal members, Judicial Watch has stepped up to do the job that the government should be, but isn’t doing...enforcing the law!
