There are parts of America that still look like our ugly founding reality. Millions of people are behind bars, communities of color are under attack, polluters are destroying our planet, and the economy of the future is closed to too many of our children.

But the beauty of America’s founding dream still means something. It’s what inspires a love army of people of every race, religion and creed to unite against hatred – and form unlikely alliances to make real progress, like historic criminal justice reform.

We don’t just have a dream. Together, we’ve already brought thousands of people home from behind bars. And we have concrete plans to expand our work next year:

• Our #cut50 program will fight to fully fund and implement the historic First Step Act, push for federal reforms, pass legislation protecting dignity for the incarcerated in states across the nation, and grow the Empathy Network of advocates.
• Dreams Corps Tech will give out 250 scholarships to kids from underserved communities to learn to code, train Silicon Valley to combat unconscious bias, and expand corporate cohorts and alumni networks.
• Our Green For All program will partner with allies to build a Green Jobs pipeline, convene a bipartisan group to find common-ground solutions, and put equity for underserved communities at the center of the conversation.
