With just five days left until the 2022 general election on Tuesday, November 8, I wanted to reach out with some important voting reminders and to ask for your help in these final days.

Today, November 3, is the LAST day to request an absentee ballot in New Mexico. You have until 5:00 pm to request your ballot at your county clerk’s office or online through the New Mexico Secretary of State website here: [link removed]

Your absentee ballot must be received by 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8. To ensure your ballot is received on time and counted, it is strongly recommended that you deliver your absentee ballot by hand to your county clerk’s office, an early voting site, or any Election Day polling location no later than 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, and not mailing it in.

Of course, you can always vote on Election Day. Polls are open across New Mexico from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8.

Polls show this critical toss-up race is going to be a close one, so we are doing everything in our power to get out the vote across the district in these final five days. You don’t have to live in NM-02 to help flip NM-02: while we need volunteers to help knock doors, we also need help making phone calls and sending text messages, which can be done anywhere virtually!
