I want to tell you about my good friend, Jeff Crossman, and why we absolutely need him to be our next Attorney General.

Mere minutes after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, our current Attorney General Dave Yost (Jeff’s opponent) filed a motion to make Ohio’s six-week abortion ban immediate state law. The Attorney General wasted no time opening the door wide open for a barbaric law that provides no exception for rape or incest, strips us of the freedom to make our own healthcare decisions, and puts the lives of pregnant patients at risk.

Fortunately, Jeff Crossman is running to take Dave Yost’s place and to be a voice for the people as our next Attorney General. We need him in that position to stand up for women, for victims, for Ohio’s most vulnerable citizens, and for integrity. The Attorney General’s office is vital to protecting our most fundamental rights and holding bad actors accountable.

I know Jeff’s the right person for this job, because I’ve been able to watch him work hard, hold folks accountable, and stand up for Ohioans since we came into the House together in 2018. I watched him lead the charge to remove the corrupt Speaker of the House, Larry Householder, from office. I’ve seen him stand up for working people on the House floor and adamantly defend Ohio families from bad legislation. And I know he’s going to keep fighting for you, me, and all of us as our next Attorney General.
