John: The midterm elections are just days away. With our Democratic agenda on the line, I'm asking on behalf of my Senate colleagues and my friend, President Joe Biden: Will you make a donation to help Democrats maintain our Senate majority and deliver on our promises to the American people? Let me take a moment to explain:

You see, back when we both represented Delaware in the U.S. Senate, Joe and I spent countless hours riding home on the Amtrak together. One of my favorite parts of our commute was talking shop during election season. We exchanged insights about key swing states and talked about how our party can do more to show families that we have their back.

Joe isn't riding Amtrak these days, but I still am, and I've been thinking about what he would say.

I know Joe, and trust me on this: He wants to make good on his promises. He wants to deliver the change that American families asked for – protecting reproductive freedom, defending our environment, giving everyone a shot at winning their American Dream, and so much more. Joe is doing everything that he can to make that happen, but he can't do it alone.

John, to finish this work and keep making progress, Joe needs us to keep the Senate blue. So, today, will you please pitch in a grassroots donation to protect Joe's Senate majority so we can keep making progress in the U.S. Senate?
