Last week, my campaign put together a campaign commercial using crime footage that was first shown on network news. Facebook approved the ad that was shown to tens of thousands of persuadable voters throughout Los Angeles county. This morning, Facebook decided to slap a "sensitive comment" label on top of the video preventing it from automatically playing on people's feed.
We have heard that Washington, Oregon, and even New York are in play this election year. Facebook is concerned that California is in play if they are stopping the people in Los Angeles from seeing images of how unsafe our communities have become.
The only way that we can stop Big Tech from manipulating our elections is by exercising our right to vote. With less than six days left in this election, if you have not done so already, please make a plan to vote and VOTE. Also, can you take a few minutes and call or text a few common-sense California voters and encourage them to exercise their right to vote this year?
