An out-of-state anti-LGBTQ+ group is spending more than $600,000 to blast a hateful, deceitful, and dangerous ad attacking Governor Mills into homes across the state.

Why is this group supporting Paul LePage? During his two terms as governor, LePage has made it a priority to attack and marginalize LGBTQ+ Mainers. In 2018, he became the first governor in history to veto a bill that would ban the harmful practice of conversion therapy – a bill that Janet Mills ultimately signed into law.

Now, extreme Republicans from around the country are rallying around Paul LePage to get him elected. If Paul LePage becomes governor, LGBTQ+ rights in Maine will once again be at risk. We know he’s the same old LePage as always.
