Greater Georgia Newsletter Thursday, November 3, 2022 We are less than ONE WEEK away from the Tuesday, November 8th general election in Georgia - and although the voter registration deadline has passed, Greater Georgia is out in the field working tirelessly to encourage every last conservative voter to get to the polls on or before next Tuesday. Remember, the LAST DAY to vote early is tomorrow, November 4th. If you have requested an absentee ballot, you must return it to a monitored absentee ballot drop box by Election Day or make sure it's postmarked and in the mail by Election Day! To find your early voting location and hours, click HERE! If you've submitted an absentee ballot, you can confirm it's been counted by clicking HERE. EARLY VOTING UPDATE We are excited to tell you that more than 1.9 MILLION Georgians have already cast ballots early or by absentee in this year's general election - breaking midterm turnout records! Based on the numbers - and the historic turnout of voters from every background - it's clear beyond a doubt that Georgia's SB 202 has made it easier to vote and hard to cheat. Compared to 2018, early voting turnout is up by about 36%. 1.7M Georgians have voted early and just under 200,000 have voted absentee. Of the 339,000 disenfranchised voters who voted in 2020 but not in the January 2021 runoff, 78,466 have so far come back out to vote. 28,453 voters so far are first-time voters. You can read our full analysis of Georgia's early voting so far by clicking HERE. ELECTION INTEGRITY As early voting continues, Greater Georgia is also working to make sure that every voter knows their vote will count (and their voice will be heard!) in this year's general election. We've launched a new website that outlines the protections of SB 202, the Georgia Election Integrity Act. Chief among them? Voter ID, a ballot harvesting ban, monitored drop boxes, security paper ballots, and a new voter fraud hotline: 877-725-9797. Read about the protections HERE, and be sure to share with friends who have questions about our new laws! You can also listen to our latest election integrity radio ad below! GREATER GEORGIA PROFILE October 22, 2022 Lisa Mascaro, Associated Press In case you missed it, Greater Georgia and Chairwoman Kelly Loeffler were featured by the Associated Press, with a story about our final voter registration push of 2022. Read the full article HERE, or view the excerpt below: "On a crisp fall morning, eager volunteers fanned out in the leafy suburban Atlanta neighborhood to knock on doors, trying to persuade reluctant and skeptical conservatives to register to vote in next month’s midterm elections...Dispatching the group on the hunt for votes was an unlikely emissary — former Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, who initially stood by the defeated president’s effort to undo Joe Biden’s victory, but was now working, in blue jeans and a country plaid shirt, to bring election skeptics back to the polls. “We saw it firsthand in our election,” Loeffler said about the drop-off during an interview outside the Cobb County Republican Party headquarters where the volunteers gathered on a recent Saturday."
