Keith Ellison urging Congress to pass George Floyd Justice in Policing Act

We urgently need your help and support for Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who served as the lead prosecutor in the George Floyd case which led to the conviction of Derek Chauvin for murder.

Why we need Keith.

Keith was the first Muslim elected to Congress and the first African American elected to statewide office in Minnesota. Since being elected as attorney general, Keith has fought racial discrimination, systemic racism, Islamophobia, pharmaceutical drug prices, the opioid epidemic, and much more!

He has been at the forefront of defending our collective rights and values but is now facing a vengeful campaign by his republican opponent, Jim Schultz. Because of Keith's leadership in George Floyd’s case, the GOP has fielded Schultz, a candidate with ZERO experience as a prosecutor, who has made proud promises to undo many of the civil rights protections Keith has fought to uphold.

What is at stake?

We cannot afford to lose Keith. 

A victory for Schultz would severely undercut the march toward social justice. The stakes are high, this election is a referendum on whether justice for Black communities and accountability can become the norm or remain the exception in America. Furthermore, in the aftermath of Roe v. Wade getting overturned, attorney generals across the country have become even more critical in the fight to protect civil liberties and freedoms.
