On November 8, we have the power to choose the side of justice and equity, and change the course of our communities’ futures.
- Question 1 would make our tax system fairer by creating a 4% tax on every dollar a taxpayer makes above $1 million in a year. Question 1 is expected to generate $2 billion in new revenue, which would fund public education and transportation statewide. A portion of this new revenue could be used to fix the safety crisis at the MBTA.
- Question 4 would keep a new law to make our roads safer by allowing qualified people to obtain a driver’s license regardless of immigration status. When everyone has the opportunity to get where they need to go – like work, doctors appointments, and other essential services – everyone is safer.
Voting YES on 1 and 4 is a critical opportunity to affect transformational change in Massachusetts. Vote early, by mail, or on election day to make your voice heard! For more information about voting, and to find your polling location, visit Mass.gov.
