Dear Friend,
As sure as the leaves turn red, orange, and yellow with each seasonal transition in November, many of us may also be facing political transitions across several states, which could potentially and fundamentally impact our lives, and the lives of immigrants and refugees in and outside the United States.
While the leaves and electoral districts may change their color, now more than ever, it’s critical that our efforts to reunite children with their families stays its course and that we continue to fight for the rights of immigrant children’s rights.
Join us on Giving Tuesday this November 29th and help us reach our goal of raising $100,000. To date, hundreds of children ripped from their families under "zero-tolerance" have yet to be reunited. All the while, policies like Title 42 (border expulsions without a hearing) continue to force families to separate. The traumas of family separation are far from over. Moreover, as Caitlin Dickerson’s cover story in the Atlantic laid bare, there is no guarantee that family separations at the U.S. - Mexico border will not be used in the future.
However, your unwavering support is instrumental in helping us chip away at the oppression and injustice endured by immigrant children and their families. With only 30 days on the calendar until Giving Tuesday, help us make a head-start on reaching our fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible donation now.
