For months, we have been talking about voting for candidates who will support women's reproductive rights! Well, ROEvember has arrived! 

Here's our simple request. First, vote!! No excuses. Second, get your like-minded friends, family members and neighbors to vote! Nag your college-age children to return their Vote by Mail ballots! 

Then, dig in and find a few hours to help canvass, phone/text bank, drive other volunteers to canvass, put up lawn signs and do whatever it takes in the next 7 days! 

We MUST re-elect Rep. Tom Malinowski and Rep. Mikie Sherrill. We need candidates who will support women's rights and fight for all of our shared values. 

Let's leave it out on the campaign trail and not regret what we should have done! Thank you.

We persevered and were finally successful in getting the Republican candidates for Morris County Commissioner to debate! But it wasn't without some more drama. At the last minute, the Republican County Committee tried to reject questions submitted by the public and just make some up! We said "NO!" and forced them to address the questions submitted.

Voters asked about affordable housing; public transportation; parks; shared services; and economic development. We heard a lot of "Can't" from the Republicans about these areas of need. Our Democratic candidates focused on what can be done in a rapidly growing and more diverse county.

Ask yourself: Do you want Commissioners who see a future with possibilities and want to lead -- or those who would barely agree to sit down for a debate?
