DEAR FRIENDS,
ABC8 News in Virginia ran a great story about our drone video taken at the Covance facility in that state.
Watch the news coverage HERE
In the story, you'll see that Covance made a statement. It was absurd. Covance has a history of working for Big Tobacco, meaning they are not in the business of saving lives but in the business of making money, no matter what the cost to human life and suffering.
We want to note that a company called "Envgio" now owns the facility we filmed. Envigo and LabCorp have a multi-year agreement to work together and Envigo and Covance are currently listed together for accreditation for the facility, therefore it seems that there was overlap of the companies for the facility.
We are still focusing on LabCorp because of that deal and the agreement to work together with Envgio. We are also adding contacts for Envigo that we are asking you to contact. Please also note that neither Covance nor LabCorp has replied to any of our emails.
The video of the LabCorp/Covance/Envigo beagle facility speaks for itself on the conditions these dogs are subjected to. That rings louder than any PR statement concocted by some corporate hack.

Please politely write to LabCorp/Envigo and ask that they meet with SHARK ASAP. Let them know that their silence proves they don't care at all about the animals.

•If you support SHARK's efforts, we could really use your help. SHARK Teams have been active in 19 states so far this year working on everything from research puppy mills, to canned hunts, to dog and cockfighting to rodeos and more. This are active, frontline efforts. We would have done even more, but we are short on funds. When SHARK is on the ground, issues move forward. Please help to keep these important issues moving in the right direction.
It isn't conferences and galas and potlucks that make animal issues move forward - it is boots on the ground, in the places where abuse is occurring, and that is where our people are. Please help us keep them there, working for our animal friends.

Kindest Regards,
Steve Hindi and Your SHARK Team
SHARK is a frontline organization that goes where others do not, and we operate like no other animal protection organization in the world. Whether on land, water, or in the air, SHARK takes on issues others are afraid of, and documents and exposes animal abuse in a way others cannot, using camera-equipped drones, boats, super high-powered video cameras, body cameras, hi-pods that can raise cameras thirty feet in the air, and much more. Our small team of dedicated investigators travels across the US and beyond, confronting cruelty, cowardice and corruption, SHARK is the "Special Forces of Animal Protection."
