donation of $3 is so important -- especially right now.
If you only listen to the pundits, you might think that the race for CA-40 is leaning in Young Kim’s direction, but there’s so much they fail to consider. Here’s what we’re paying attention to:
- After redistricting, Young Kim left a neighboring congressional district to run here because she thought it would be an easier race. Kim is new to 80% of voters in CA-40.
- Kim is a staunch, anti-choice extremist with little support in our community. After primary results were tallied, we learned that two-thirds of local voters rejected Kim. Meanwhile, our campaign earned the largest vote share of any candidate.
- CA-40 is one of just a dozen Republican-held seats in the country that Biden won in 2020. This race is winnable.
This is one of the few places in the country “where control of Congress will be won." But we’re up against Young Kim’s mega-donors and well over $500,000 from Kevin McCarthy's super PACs. We need all hands on deck to make sure we have the resources to communicate our message.
