John --
The 2022 midterms are about monumental choices, including choices about democracy itself.
The work you have helped All On The Line accomplish has gone a long way toward strengthening our democracy. A recent New York Times analysis found that the maps for the House of Representatives are the fairest in 40 years – and that’s because folks like you got involved and made your voices heard. But that doesn’t mean the work stops there. We need to not only protect the progress we have made, but also build on it.
With so much at stake this November, I’m urging you to make sure you’re ready to make your voice heard again. Make a plan to vote, and help others do the same -- go to vote.org for more. [[link removed]]
Just yesterday I voted by mailing in my ballot -- join me in defending our democracy and make a plan to vote.
This year, we have an opportunity to vote on terms that are, if not perfect, then closer to the ideals we have always told ourselves this nation stands for.
Like our imperfect union, the maps still need work -- and we’re counting on your support to continue that work. But in the short term, we need to focus on getting out to vote, and encouraging our friends and loved ones to do the same.
Your vote -- and your right to vote -- directly affects other rights, too. Whether it’s the right to choose, the right to love who you love, or the state-by-state rights about your ability to go to the polls on Election Day, everything is on the ballot this November. That’s how it is in a democracy, where we’re always one election away from long-lasting changes.
Make a plan to vote, and make your voice heard this November. [[link removed]]
