There was a time when politics was about serving – but today, it’s about winning at all costs, no matter who gets hurt.

That’s not me.

I will never, ever apologize for fighting for our democracy. I wouldn’t apologize to our enemies abroad when I served in the Navy, and I won’t apologize to the enemies of our democracy at home.

And if you have a problem with that, I’m not your candidate.

I’m not your candidate if you stand with insurrectionists.

I’m not your candidate if you think you should control women’s choices, rather than us making decisions for ourselves.

And I’m especially not your candidate if you’d burn our democracy to the ground to protect Donald Trump.

But if you’re still with me, I’m proud and honored to be your candidate.

With less than a week before Election Day, I need to ask: will you help me defeat my election-denying opponent by chipping in $25 to our Get Out The Vote program?
