Dear John,
I want to tell you how your year-end gift to MCN will be impactful for our work in the coming year:
1. Expand our Muslim Youth NYC leadership program into more public and Islamic schools in 2020. Currently, we're at 3 and we'd like to be in at least 5, citywide.
2. Develop a Muslim youth scholarship fund that will help our youth access funds for education.
3. Train Muslim youth leaders in peacebuilding and conflict resolution to become the next generation of peacemakers around the world. We cannot accept the level of hate against faith communities!
5. Introduce and ensure religious diversity training for teachers, school administrators, employers, and students, in order to stop religious-based bullying. We cannot tolerate the bullying of our children anymore! Our diversity training has tremendous positive effects, help us expand this more!
4. Strengthen and unite the Muslim non-profit sector so that we can become a strong advocacy coalition that advocates for policies that address the needs of the Muslim community in both the city and state. Say no to family separation, Muslim travel ban, and more!
