| | RACP Grant Awards
| | Last week, I was proud to announce over $12.5 million in grants for Montgomery County Projects, courtesy of the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP). The grants and projects include:
-$5,750,000 to the Child Advocacy Center of Montgomery County for an advocacy and training center.
-$2,500,000 to Collegeville Borough for the East Main Street Revitalization Project.
-$1,250,000 to West Norriton Township’s Jeffersonville Golf Clubhouse revitalization.
-$1,000,000 to Trappe Fire Company for a new fire station.
-$1,000,000 to The Pathway School for building renovations.
-$1,000,000 for the repair and rehabilitation of the Reading Railroad Freight House in Lansdale.
I’m grateful to see these projects receive funding. It is important to take care of our local institutions and build back stronger for future generations. This round of RACP funding will continue to support our local economy, strengthen public safety, and make needed improvements in our community.
RACP projects are authorized in the redevelopment section of the Capital Budget Itemization Act, have a regional or multi-jurisdictional impact and are geared to generate substantial increases or maintain current levels of employment, tax revenue or other measures of economic activity. | | | Mitzvah Circle Award
| | Last week I stood with a few of my house colleagues, Rep. Matt Bradford, Rep. Liz Hanbidge, and Rep. Nancy Guenst to present Mitzvah Circle with a $3 Million grant from the American Rescue Plan Act. Montgomery County legislators, including Senators Amanda Cappelletti, Maria Collett, Art Haywood, Vincent Hughes and Katie Muth, as well as Representatives Matt Bradford, Tim Briggs, Joe Ciresi, Mary Jo Daley, Pam DeLissio, Nancy Guenst, Liz Hanbidge, Steve Malagari, Napoleon Nelson, Ben Sanchez, Melissa Shusterman, Greg Vitali, and I worked with the Wolf Adminstration to secure this funding so that Mitzvah Circle can expand their operations.
I am enormously proud to have assisted with the grant request. We are incredibly blessed to have such an extraordinary non-profit, right in our backyard, that strives to meet the needs of every family swiftly and fill any gaps from unexpected hardship.

Find your Polling Place
Remember, any activity that threatens, harasses, or intimidates voters outside the polling place, inside the polling place, at secure ballot receptacles, at mailboxes, or at county election offices is illegal. It is recommended to report voter intimidation to the Montgomery County's District Attorney's Tip Line at 610-292-2022 and to the Pennsylvania Department of State at 1-877-868-3772.
I would also like to remind you that because pre-canvassing of mail-in and absentee ballots is still not an option, it will take election officials time to open, sort, and process every ballot and we may not have official election results on election night here in Pennsylvania. I ask all of you to remain patient during the secure counting process until it is complete.
Also, keep in mind that my district office will be closed on Election Day. If you need state assistance, please call my office at 484-200-8263 or my new additional toll-free number 833-787-5133. You can also send an email to [email protected] and a staffer will get back to you.
| | Please continue to stay safe, healthy and well-informed.
And, if you have questions about any state-related issue, please contact my office at 484-200-8263 or email [email protected].
