Friend,

North Carolina's Senate race is a toss-up.

You read that correctly: North Carolina. Senator Thom Tillis is narrowly trailing his Democratic opponent Cal Cunningham in three polls. We could pick up this Senate seat, and that would put us one step closer to flipping the Senate.

START 2020 OFF STRONG BY DONATING $5.00 OR MORE TO HELP CAL RAISE $5,000 BEFORE MIDNIGHT! I know tonight is New Years Eve, but my resolution for next year is to take back the Senate -- and we can do it if we elect Cal Cunningham in North Carolina. ( [link removed]

Cal Cunningham is an Army veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, business leader, and former legislator who served as vice chairman of the North Carolina Governors Crime Commission. He is running to serve as North Carolina's next United States senator.

Cal's committed to lowering healthcare costs and making healthcare more accessible by standing up for the Affordable Care Act and fighting any cuts to Medicare benefits. He believes, like I do, that the only economy that truly works is an economy that generates opportunities for everyone -- that's why hes committed to standing with workers to support efforts to promote good-paying, full-time jobs with benefits, rein in the cost of higher education and healthcare, defend workplace protections, and finally raise the minimum wage.

But this race will be close: 49% of North Carolinians have an unfavorable opinion of Donald Trump, but 47% are still fans -- in a presidential election year, this race will come down to every last vote.

THAT'S WHY CAL NEEDS OUR SUPPORT RIGHT NOW: ENSURE CAL STARTS 2020 STRONG BY HELPING HIM RAISE $5,000 BEFORE MIDNIGHT. Donate $5.00 or more now to support Cal Cunningham's election as North Carolina's next U.S. senator. ( [link removed]

Sincerely,

Chuck Schumer
