Hi there,

On May 24th, 2022, we lost our beautiful 9 year old daughter to senseless gun violence.

Jacklyn was a free spirit that was always willing and wanting to help others. Her favorite color was sage green, she loved to sing, make videos on TikTok and interact with her friends on Snapchat.

Jacklyn was one of the 21 victims of the Uvalde school shooting. And while we know there’s nothing we can do to bring our daughter back, we couldn’t stand idly by during one of the most important elections of our lifetime.

That’s why we’re writing to you now. John is the candidate we’re supporting because he’s not afraid to stand up to the NRA, and he’s promised to take action to stop the gun violence epidemic.

After Uvalde, it was clear that we can no longer wait to take action. We must elect candidates who will make sure this doesn’t happen again– if we don’t, we’re not just failing Jacklyn or all the lives lost that day, but all Americans.
