FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CASCADE RIVER ROAD #97950 NEAR MILEPOST 6.50 IS CLOSED DUE TO A ROCK SLIDE ACROSS THE ROADWAY
Cascade River Road will be closed until further notice due to a rock slide blocking both lanes of the roadway. Skagit County Public Works will assess the current situation and the possibility of further sliding and remove the large rock prior to the road reopening. We will keep the public informed of our progress.
The road will be closed to all vehicles, including emergency vehicles.
- There will be no signed Detour Route as the connecting road network is comprised of Forrest Service logging roads.
