Friend,
I'm reaching out to respectfully ask if you can contribute $5 to my campaign for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin.
Here's why:
Wisconsin's Senate seat is one of the most likely to flip in 2022. And I'm relying on an unprecedented grassroots movement in order to defeat Ron Johnson.
I simply cannot do this alone.
This race is too important for us to come up short. So I am asking you directly:
Can I count on you to contribute $5 to my campaign for U.S. Senate in Wisconsin? It would mean a lot if you could chip in today.
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be split between Mandela Barnes and Jeanne Shaheen and will go through immediately:
I've been traveling all across the state of Wisconsin, hearing directly from people who are understandably frustrated with candidates like Ron Johnson who got elected only to serve himself.
Since he's been in office, Ron Johnson has doubled his wealth as a result of the tax breaks that the Republican Party passed under Trump. And he even went so far as to complain that his wealth has only doubled – not quadrupled – during his time in Washington.
But that's not all. Ron Johnson tried to rig the election for Donald Trump by giving a slate of fake electors to Mike Pence on January 6th.
Then he celebrated Roe being overturned.
Enough is enough.
I am running for U.S. Senate to fight for middle class families, and to deliver opportunity for everyone. I’ll vote to defend abortion rights, address the climate crisis, and rebuild the middle class.
But in order for that to happen, my campaign needs to stay on top of meeting our fundraising goals.
Because the truth is that we won't have the resources we need to win this race if we don't reach our fundraising goals.
As of this morning, we're just a bit short of where we need to be before midnight tonight.
Can you add your contribution today?
Please make a $5 contribution to my campaign before midnight tonight. We'll put your donation immediately to work to defeat Ron Johnson.
Thank you in advance for contributing today. It means a lot to know I can count on your support when it matters most.
All my best,
Mandela Barnes
